Pressing Ink: Printmaking & Explorations           

Wednesdays  6- 8:30                   Oct. 11 to Nov. 29 (No Class 11/22)

Explore a wide variety of techniques in this 8-week introductory course under the guidance of an experienced printmaker & teacher. Each week you’ll play with something new: monotype, relief or drypoint.  Printmaking is a medium with infinite possibilities; let’s put that shiny new Craft Center press to use! You will leave with your own, custom printed artwork and the knowledge to work on your own projects. No experience required & suitable for any level - just bring your artistic curiosity! Initial class projects materials provided (plates, paper, ink & printing incidentals). Please allow extra funds for additional paper & ink should you want to run larger editions.

Holiday Greeting Cards Workshop

In this 4-hour workshop, learn woodblock relief printing that will enable you to produce multiple artworks or unique cards with ease…these make wonderful personalized gifts! No experience required. Suitable for any level, just bring your artistic curiosity!

Beginning Drawing

Learn drawing basics in this 6 -week course. Lessons on basic drawings, line quality, shading, composition, and drawing other techniques will build a strong foundation for beginners. The class will cover topics in style, illustration, pointillism, abstraction, and figure drawing. Materials will be provided for the first class. The suggested materials list will also be provided.
