Oregon State Flying Club Open House

Corvallis Municipal Airport | 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

20 minute airplane rides over campus for $20 per person and sign up is a first-come first-served basis. There will also be a BBQ with free food and is open to the public. For any questions, email flyingclub@oregonstate.edu.

Add some adventure to your weekend! Register at the Adventure Leadership Institute (ALI) desk in Dixon. Participants will meet at the ALI desk prior to the trip and is $60 per person.

 

DAM FAM Brunch

MU Lounge | 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Enjoy a convenient brunch on campus for the entire family in the historical Memorial Union Lounge. Doors open at 9 am with last call at 11:30 AM, $12 tickets can be bought at OSUPC Welcome Table.

Wave Lab Open House

O.H Hindsdale Wave Research Labratory | 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

The open house features a 15-20 minute guided tour highlighting active research projects and the specialized equipment that makes this research possible. The wave lab is located west of 35th st on Jefferson.

Memorial Union Tours

MU Steps | 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Come take a guided tour of the Memorial Union, including hidden spaces. Tours will leave at the top of each hour, at the top of the MU steps with the last tour leaving at 1:00 PM. 

 

College of Business DAMlab

Buxton Hall DAMlab | 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

The College of Business invites you to tour OSU’s makerspace, The DAMlab. Come see where students tinker, make, and explore using a variety of fabrication tools, from 3D printers and CNC machines to laser engravers and vinyl cutters.  Light refreshments will be provided.

 

LGBTQ+ Pride Families Open House

An open house for families with LGBTQ+ members and all loved ones of LGBTQ+ students. Drop in to check out the Pride Center, enjoy snacks, and meet other students, friends, and families.

A Cappella Sing-Off

The Radiation Center open house features a 20 minute guided tour of the various active test facilities including the Oregon State TRIGA Reactor. Located at 35th and Jefferson near the construction.

MU Basement

First bowling game for parents is FREE and starting at 9 PM Friday & Saturday there will be cosmic bowling. Along with bowling there will be pool tables and access to the Beaver Den! The MU Basement will be open Friday 2 p.m. to midnight, Saturday 12 p.m. to midnight and Sunday 12 PM to 8 PM

The College of Business Design Programs’ Historic and Cultural Textile and Apparel Collection will be on display. Austin Hall will be open Friday 7 AM to 10 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 8 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 10 PM.

 

Red Zone Campaign

Valley Library Quad

From November 13 - November 20, the flags posted in the Valley Library quad represent the number of sexual assaults reported during 2016 in Oregon. The Women’s Centers flag installment seeks to inform students of their resources while prompting conversations regarding sexual assault between members of the OSU community and their support systems.

 

Free Access to Dixon

Free access all weekend to Dixon Recreation Center and McAlexander Fieldhouse for friends and family who come with a student who has a valid OSU ID.
 

Free Fit Pass Classes

Dixon Recreation Center

Friends and family can attend Fit Pass Classes for free when attending with a Fit Pass holding student. Check out Fit Pass Classes schedule at recsports.oregonstate.edu/schedule.
