The Sustainability Leadership Program pairs passionate students with campus departments and community organizations working to solve local and global sustainability challenges through research, education, and community engagement. Projects support sustainability goals while providing students opportunities to develop leadership competencies and transferable professional skills through mentorship, networking, and professional development.
Students can apply for Professional Development Grants to pay for fees to attend conferences, workshops, or other professional development opportunities that require travel. Credit-bearing opportunities aren't eligible for funding. DUE: May 26th. 2016-2017 applications must be received by May 26, 2017. Applications for 2017-2018 will begin being reviewed in late September 2017 and will use new guidelines that will be posted in summer 2017!

The OSU Solar Trailer is a portable device that captures and stores solar energy. Its purpose is to educate about photovoltaic (solar electric) energy technologies and provide a renewable, portable power supply for events. It was designed by OSU students as a senior project in mechanical engineering and constructed in 2007.

Going Beyond Green is an SSI program available to all student organizations, Greek Life, and other student departments that aims to make holistic sustainability an accessible goal and outcome for all student groups on and off campus.
