Interested in volunteering for the SSI? We have opportunities to gain experience working on topics you’re passionate about, whether you want to commit for a year, a term, or an afternoon.

Here are just a few ideas:

Be a voice for sustainability at OSU! Develop your leadership skills and make decisions that have a direct impact on campus infrastructure and student involvement as an SSI Fee Board Member. We have openings for the 2017-18 school year.

Help make organic produce accessible for all! Join the Growing Food Security garden work parties and learn how to grow your own veggies. Contact Jacob at ssi.garden@oregonstate.edu for more information. Or volunteer distributing the produce to OSU Food Pantry clients twice a month. Contact Stephanie at HSRC.FoodPantry@oregonstate.edu for more information.

Have a DIY skill? Volunteer to lead a workshop at a Repair Fair! Contact Jasen at ssi.lab.coordinator@oregonstate.edu to share your idea.

Interested in permaculture? Help showcase this innovative design practice in the center of campus at the Student Experience Center. Contact Micco at ssi.landscape@oregonstate.edu to get your hands dirty.

Become an SSI Intern! Receive credit to work on one of SSI’s initiative teams. Internships for 2017-2018 will be available in early fall term.
