- Get Engaged
In addition to the service projects offered during days of service and action weeks, the CCE provides stand-alone service projects at various times throughout the year. We provide transportation to and from the activity. We also host a wide array of service opportunities on Ideal-Logic, our community service database. For these opportunities, students should contact the community partner to set up their service project. Learn more about these great opportunites below.

Trick or Treat for Food Security is an event hosted by the CCE in which volunteers “trick-or-treat” for monetary donations and/or canned goods to benefit the Human Services Resource Center's (HSRC) OSU Food Pantry. This event is open to all OSU students, staff, faculty, and affiliates. Costumes are highly encouraged and please be sure they are culturally sensitive and appropriate. To request accommodations related to disabilities for an event, please contact the CCE at firstname.lastname@example.org or 541-737-3041. Ideal-Logic registration for this service project will be available two weeks in advance of Halloween.
In fall 2018, we began offering one-time, staff-led service projects outside of days of service and action weeks. These projects cover a wide range of topics, from gardening to socializing with senior citizens, and they're all a ton of fun! These are a great way for Greek students and students in service-learning classes to complete their requirements in an easy, fun way with a group of fellow students. We provide transportation from campus and back! Visit Ideal-Logic and look under the "Register for a Service Project" section on the left to see what projects are currently available. To request accommodations related to disabilities for an event, please contact the CCE at email@example.com or 541-737-3041.
The CCE also lists a wide range of service opportunities on Ideal-Logic for students. Students can search by keyword, community partner, activity, date, and more. You can search the opportunities list below or visit Ideal-Logic and click on the "Browse Civic Engagement Opportunities" section on the bottom left of the page. These projects are self-led, so students should contact the community partner in the listings below to set up a time, date, and duration that works for them.
